A professional Move Manager will be assigned to your project to ensure a smooth transition for your organization and staff. They will develop and implement a detailed move plan tailored to your specific project requirements. This includes conducting site surveys, attending strategic meetings, managing the move implementation, and providing post-move support.
The Move Manager will create comprehensive move programs, resource and activity schedules, filing audits, IT audits, and asset registers, all designed to keep your project team informed on progress throughout the process. Additionally, a post-move help desk will be established to provide ongoing support and ensure the project is completed seamlessly.

Move Teams

Our trained teams of supervisors and operatives are highly experienced in implementing our tried and tested move methodologies. They always maintain a professional approach, dressed in full uniform and PPE, and conduct themselves quietly, refraining from recreational mobile phone use. They work politely and efficiently while on our clients' premises and in public spaces.
Furniture, IT & Filing Relocation

K-Installations has been operating in the office furniture industry for over 30 years, gaining extensive experience in installing and reconfiguring a wide range of furniture systems, including Knoll, B&B Italia, Herman Miller, and Ahrend, among others. Our trained fitters are skilled in dismantling, protecting, moving, and reassembling expensive furniture without causing any loss or damage to the items or the surrounding area. Additionally, we have a dedicated IT relocation team to effectively plan, protect, move, and test all IT equipment.
Whether your move involves 4 people or 10,000, a few cabinets, or 6,000 linear meters of filing, K-Installations can meet all your relocation needs.

Transportation

K-Installations maintains and operates a fleet of branded vehicles, ranging from small panel vans and crew buses to 3.5-tonne Luton vans with tail lifts, as well as 7.5 and 18-tonne HGVs. We safely and efficiently load, transport, and unload items to the designated location or back to our warehouse.
Long & Short Term Storage

Our fully secure, CCTV-monitored 200,000 square feet of warehousing space provides an ideal solution for storing items during a relocation project. This space is tailored entirely to our clients' needs and can accommodate both short-term and long-term storage requirements.
Health & Safety
​
The health and safety of our teams and clients are of paramount importance to K-Installations. All operatives are CSCS trained as standard and undergo site-specific inductions before starting a relocation project. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times while on site. We provide and train our team members to operate industry-standard trolleys, cages, skates, crates, and other moving equipment. We know precisely which protection materials to use and what to avoid on furniture items as well as the site itself, ensuring the protection of lifts, lobbies, walkways, and doors.
